Airline News: Turkish Airlines Expands Istanbul–Kuala Lumpur–Sydney Route

Turkish Airlines has announced an increase in flight frequency on its Istanbul – Kuala Lumpur – Sydney route, catering to growing passenger demand. Effective June 9, 2025, the number of weekly flights will increase from four to five, followed by six flights per week from October 27, 2025, and transitioning to a daily service from January 5, 2026.
Turkish Airlines continues to enhance the travel experience with two complimentary services for eligible international passengers:
- Touristanbul: A free city tour of Istanbul for transit passengers with long layovers, offering eight different daily schedules.
- Stopover in Istanbul: A complimentary hotel stay for passengers traveling to destinations in the Americas, Asia, and the Far East, with a minimum 20-hour layover in Istanbul on Turkish Airlines roundtrip flights.
