Airline News: MEA Announce Enhanced Baggage Allowance for Loyalty Members

Middle East Airlines (MEA) and SkyTeam partner airlines have introduced enhanced baggage allowances for Platinum, Gold, and Silver tier members. These new privileges provide additional checked baggage benefits, offering greater convenience for travelers.

Updated Baggage Allowance:

• Platinum Members:

• • Weight system: Additional 30 kg
  • Business Class: Two extra pieces (up to 30 kg each)
  • Economy Class: Two extra pieces (up to 23 kg each)

• Gold Members:

• • Weight system: Additional 20 kg
  • Business Class: One extra piece (up to 30 kg)
  • Economy Class: One extra piece (up to 23 kg)

• Silver Members:

• • Weight system: Additional 10 kg
  • Business Class: One extra piece (up to 30 kg)
  • Economy Class: One extra piece (up to 23 kg)

For flights operated by SkyTeam partners, an additional 1 piece of 23 kg is permitted. On Qatar Airways-operated flights, the additional baggage allowance is 20 kg for Platinum members, 15 kg for Gold members, and 10 kg for Silver members.
