As Egypt continues to invest in premium tourism experiences, getting around the country is becoming faster and more seamless.
Air Taxi Egypt has announced the expansion of its operations with six additional aircraft, increasing capacity between Cairo and the North Coast while supporting quicker connections to destinations including El Alamein, El Gouna, Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. The expansion is designed to meet growing demand during the busy summer season, when road travel to the coast can become particularly congested.
Launched in October 2025 as Egypt’s first integrated helicopter taxi service, Air Taxi Egypt combines private and semi-private flights for business travellers, luxury holidaymakers and executive delegations. Operating from Almaza Airport in Cairo, the service offers both Comfort Class and VIP Class, providing a fast and flexible alternative to conventional road or air travel.
Beyond intercity transfers, the company also offers sightseeing flights over Greater Cairo. Its signature “Soaring Above History” experience gives travellers a unique aerial perspective of the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, Saqqara, Dahshour and the Grand Egyptian Museum, while a separate city tour highlights Cairo’s modern skyline.
Looking ahead, Air Taxi Egypt plans to introduce a dedicated booking application alongside a “by-the-seat” reservation model, allowing individual travellers to book scheduled helicopter services without chartering an entire aircraft. The company has also announced plans to expand its network of approved routes, develop partnerships with hotels and resorts, and collaborate with major tourism and business events across Egypt.
For luxury travellers, incentive groups and FIT clients, the expansion represents another step in Egypt’s evolving premium travel landscape—where time-saving transportation is becoming an integral part of the overall visitor experience.
