Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with over 560 properties across six continents, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Soma Bay Hotel Company SAE to launch a luxury Anantara resort and branded residences in Soma Bay, Egypt. This partnership marks Minor Hotels’ entry into the Egyptian market and aims to elevate Soma Bay—a Red Sea destination known for its natural beauty, wellness offerings, and water sports—into a global luxury hotspot. The new development will reflect Anantara’s signature blend of authentic cultural experiences and refined Thai-rooted hospitality.
