Egypt Launches Air Taxi Service Connecting Cairo and Coastal Cities

A new Air Taxi service is set to revolutionize travel in Egypt, providing fast and efficient air transport between Cairo and key destinations such as the North Coast, Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, and El Gouna. Operated in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Aviation and the Egyptian Air Force, the aircraft can carry five passengers and reach speeds of up to 240 km/h. Short flights within Cairo will start at around $200, while longer coastal trips may cost up to $1,500. Designed for tourists, business travelers, and quick intercity transfers, the air taxi will reduce travel times dramatically — reaching the North Coast in just 60 minutes and Siwa Oasis in about 90 minutes.
