Forever Is Now Returns to the Pyramids for a New Celebration of Contemporary Art
There are few places in the world where contemporary creativity meets ancient history as seamlessly as the Giza Plateau.
This autumn, Forever Is Now returns for another edition, once again transforming the landscape of the Pyramids into one of the world’s most remarkable open-air art exhibitions. Bringing together internationally acclaimed artists, the exhibition invites visitors to experience one of humanity’s oldest monuments through a contemporary artistic lens.
This year’s edition presents ten large-scale, site-specific installations, each created exclusively for the Giza Plateau. Drawing inspiration from themes of memory, spirituality, time and nature, the artworks engage in a dialogue with the surrounding landscape, offering new perspectives on one of the world’s most iconic archaeological sites.
Among the featured installations are works by Vhils, Jongkyo Park, Ege Köse and Ana Ferrari, whose sculptures reinterpret ancient symbols, explore the passage of time and respond to the desert environment surrounding the Pyramids. Together, the exhibition demonstrates how art continues to evolve while remaining deeply connected to history and place.
Organised by Art D’Égypte with the support of UNESCO, Forever Is Now has become one of Egypt’s most distinctive cultural events, attracting artists, collectors and travellers from around the world. Beyond showcasing contemporary art, the exhibition creates a unique conversation between past and present, reinforcing Egypt’s position as a destination where heritage and modern creativity exist side by side.
