Arrival at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport, meet/assist.
Visit Mosque of Hassan II, and then transfer to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. The first visit to make when you are in Rabat is the Hassan tower; Symbol of Rabat and Morocco. The tower was originally intended to be the minaret of the largest mosque in the Muslim world, which unfortunately has never been completed. You also explore the mausoleum Mohammed V; Royal Tombs of the last 3 kings: King Mohammed V and his two sons, Moulay Abdellah and Hassan II. The second most important place of Rabat is the Kasbah of Oudayas. An old fortified military camp with all the houses and alleys painted in blue and white. Inside, you can visit a former military prison, gardens and a museum. Transfer to Tangier, check in hotel, dinner and overnight at Tangier.
Day 02: Tangier – Chefchaquen – FES (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Breakfast at the hotel, then check out. Morning sightseeing tour in Tangier, including Tangier Kasbah and Grand Square. Departure to the enchanting mountain village of Chefchaouen, passing through the green valleys of the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen is famous for its vivid blue-rinsed houses and is very popular for both tourists and Moroccans. Explore Chefchaouen, with its winding lanes and narrow alleys, which are home to numerous souks offering cuisine and artisan works, such as woolen items, intricate embroidery, and goats’ cheese, all native to the North, and not found anywhere else in Morocco. Transfer to FES, check-in to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 03: FES (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you will explore Fez, the most ancient and holy of the Imperial cities. Your cultural and historic tour will take you through the 2000-year-old living medina. A labyrinth of narrow streets, alive with markets and souks, craftsmen, donkeys, and mules transporting their loads. Visit the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the Karaouine Mosque. Finish your tour with a visit to Fez Jdid and the revered Merenid Tombs for a spectacular panoramic view of Fez. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: FES – Volubilis – Meknes – Marrakech (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
After breakfast, we will depart to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an ancient Roman settlement. Here you can admire the alleyways, gates, monuments, and mosaic floors. Dating from the 2nd and 3rd centuries, the Roman ruins here are considered the best-preserved in Morocco. Our next stop will be in Meknes, a World Heritage UNESCO Site and one of the 4 Imperial cities of Morocco. Meknes, the site of the first Arab dynasty created by Moulay Ismail, and here you can visit the Medersa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, the Gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace. Later you will continue to Marrakech where you will check into your accommodation. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Marrakech (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
After breakfast in the hotel, you will have a private guided tour of Marrakech, you will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. In the afternoon, the best option is to explore the medina approaching the square that in the evening is full of narrators, jugglers, diviners, snake charmers, and musicians. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
