El Gouna Photo Week will take place from 4 to 12 December 2026, bringing together photographers, filmmakers and other visual storytellers for exhibitions, workshops and industry sessions. Its programme will include the Shipmakers Exhibition, which focuses on the people behind Egypt’s shipbuilding communities, from workers producing small fishing boats to teams involved in constructing larger commercial vessels. Selected photographic stories will document the individuals, roles and processes behind the vessels they help create.
