Set to sail in early 2027, BENNU Dahabeya introduces a deeply immersive and intimate way to experience the Nile, where Egyptian heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary luxury come together in a thoughtfully curated journey. Inspired by the ancient Bennu bird — a symbol of renewal in Egyptian mythology — the luxury vessel is designed around the timeless rhythm of slow travel along the river.
With just eight accommodations, including four standard rooms and four deluxe suites, BENNU focuses on privacy, authenticity, and personalized experiences. The interiors draw inspiration from Pharaonic, Ottoman, and contemporary Egyptian aesthetics, blending handcrafted details, artisanal décor, and panoramic Nile views to create a refined yet culturally rooted atmosphere. Some suites also feature private terraces, paying homage to the classic dahabeyas of the Nile.
The dahabeya will sail between Luxor and Aswan, with stops at historic riverside destinations including Esna, Edfu, and Kom Ombo. Guests will be able to choose between three-, five-, and seven-night itineraries, alongside fully customized private journeys for groups and families.
On board, guests can enjoy a carefully curated collection of amenities designed to encourage relaxation and connection with the Nile. Facilities include an elegant restaurant, indoor and outdoor lounges, a deck bar, a top-deck plunge pool, and a fitness tray service. The experience also emphasizes local gastronomy, artisan craftsmanship, and tranquil communal spaces that transform the river journey into an immersive lifestyle experience.
More than a luxury cruise, BENNU is designed as a celebration of Egyptian storytelling and craftsmanship, reviving traditional artistry through collaborations with local carpenters, blacksmiths, textile artisans, and potters. The result is a fully Egyptian hospitality experience that invites travelers to slow down, reconnect, and experience the Nile through a more meaningful and authentic lens.
