Globally renowned electronic music festival EXIT has officially announced the launch of Starlight, a brand-new multi-day festival experience taking place across Cairo from October 8–11, 2026, with its main performances set against the iconic backdrop of the Great Pyramids of Giza.
Part of EXIT’s expanding World Tour, the event is being produced in partnership with P+US and Venture Lifestyle, one of the MENA region’s leading entertainment and event production companies known for delivering large-scale experiences at culturally significant destinations.
The festival’s two main nights on October 9 and 10 will take place at a specially designated location near the pyramids, developed in accordance with the site’s protected historical status. Opening and closing events will also unfold across selected venues throughout Cairo, transforming the city into a multi-day entertainment hub.
Starlight will feature more than five festival stages and immersive zones, alongside one of the world’s most advanced virtual reality experiences, previously showcased at Expo Dubai. Organizers have also promised one of the strongest electronic music lineups ever assembled in Egypt, with official ticket sales launching on May 25.
As one of Europe’s most influential electronic music festivals, EXIT has earned multiple international awards, including three “European Best Major Festival” titles and the recent “Promoter of the Year” award at the European Festival Awards. Since launching in Serbia in 2000, the festival has become known for combining large-scale entertainment with cultural storytelling and destination experiences.
The launch of Starlight further reinforces Egypt’s growing position as a destination for global entertainment, music tourism, and immersive cultural events. For tickets, VIP access, and tailored travel packages, contact Excel Travel.
