Marriott International has signed an agreement with Misr Italia Properties and People & Places to develop nine hotel and branded residential properties across Egypt, representing more than 1,500 hotel rooms and residential units. The plans include a 170-room Ritz-Carlton at The Med Ras El Hekma, alongside 268 residences; a 180-room Autograph Collection hotel and 250 residences at Solare Ras El Hekma; an 80-room Autograph Collection hotel with 172 residences at Kai Sokhna Red Sea; and a 100-room Autograph Collection hotel at Garden 8 in East Cairo. A 180-room Luxury Collection hotel and 180 residences are also planned for The Hills of One in Sphinx City, West Cairo.
