Every summer, Egypt’s North Coast — known locally as “Sahel” — transforms into one of the Mediterranean’s most vibrant lifestyle and entertainment destinations. Stretching along turquoise waters and white-sand beaches, Sahel has become synonymous with luxury beach escapes, exclusive dining concepts, and world-class nightlife experiences that attract visitors from across the region and beyond.
As the 2026 season begins, the coast is once again preparing for a summer filled with international music events, immersive open-air performances, and beachfront entertainment experiences — with even more announcements expected throughout the season.
This summer’s lineup already brings together some of the world’s leading electronic music artists across several iconic North Coast venues:
- Adriatique will perform on July 24, delivering a large-scale immersive open-air experience following their celebrated Pyramids performance earlier this year.
- Francis Mercier arrives on July 31, bringing his globally recognized Solèy concept to the North Coast for the very first time — a multicultural musical journey inspired by African, Caribbean, and Levantine influences.
- Solomun takes over the coast on August 7 with one of his signature long-format melodic house and techno sets, promising an immersive night guided by his “Nobody Is Not Loved” philosophy.
- Black Coffee returns on August 21 for a special beachfront performance, blending his signature Afro-house sound with the atmosphere of a Mediterranean summer night.
- Shimza will close out the month with a high-energy performance at Surf Club on August 27, continuing the North Coast’s growing reputation as a hotspot for international Afro-house music experiences.
Beyond the music scene, Sahel continues to evolve into a full lifestyle destination where beach clubs, fine dining, luxury resorts, and entertainment concepts come together against the backdrop of some of the Mediterranean’s most striking crystal-blue waters.
With the season only just beginning, more concerts, beach events, and exclusive experiences are expected to be announced across Egypt’s North Coast throughout the summer.
